Darren Bravo has flown home from West Indies’ tour of New Zealand for personal reasons, ruling him out of the rest of the limited-overs internationals with the Black Caps.
The tourists have chosen not to replace top-order batsman Bravo, whose double-hundred helped them save the first Test of a series New Zealand won 2-0.
Bravo’s withdrawal further weakens the Windies’ batting after Marlon Samuels left the tour with a wrist injury.
The second installment of the five-game one-day series, which West Indies lead 1-0, is tomorrow. Two Twenty20 internationals follow in mid-January.
