Jeremy Bray will step down as Ireland Women’s coach at the end of his current contract in December.
The former Ireland batsman, who turns 40 next month, will explore new coaching options following two seasons in charge of the women's team.
During this time Ireland Women won promotion in the ECB County Championship Division Three in 2012, were victorious in the 2012 European Women's T20 championships, and this summer qualified for the 2014 World Twenty20.
Bray said: "I've really enjoyed my time as coach of the women, but it's time for a new challenge. It's been a part-time consultancy role and I've reached the stage in my career where I'm looking for something more permanent."
