ECB Chairman Giles Clarke has paid tribute to the three individuals involved in cricket that received recognition in the New Year’s honours list.
Cricket Scotland Chairman Keith Oliver and outgoing National Selector Geoff Miller were each awarded OBEs while John Pickup, the Chairman of the ECB's Recreational Assembly, received an MBE.
Clarke, whose own achievements were recognised with a CBE in the 2012 list, hailed the contribution of the trio to the sport.
He said: "The award to Keith is richly deserved and one which he can take great pride in.
"His dynamism, leadership skills and business acumen have proved invaluable to Cricket Scotland over the past decade and I am delighted that he is now also playing a key role in the wider governance of the global game as an ICC Board Director.
"Geoff's keen understanding of what it takes to succeed at the highest level, his ability to forge strong relationships with the First Class Counties and his unerring eye for cricketing talent have all been immensely valuable to the England team and we send him warm congratulations on his award.
"Likewise, John Pickup, a hugely respected figure within our recreational game who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes on behalf of amateur cricketers and whose wise counsel and administrative skills continue to be deployed to great effect as part of the ECB Board."
