Durham needed only 16 balls to wrap up their fifth LV= County Championship win of the season against Derbyshire at the Emirates Durham ICG.
The visitors' last three batsmen offered no resistance, leaving Tom Poynton stranded on 58 as they were all out for 192 to lose by 279 runs in the Division One clash.
Jonathan Clare went to the second ball of the day, dabbing at a short, wide one from Ben Stokes to be caught behind.
Tim Groenewald was also in no mood to hang around, swinging a good-length ball from Chris Rushworth high over square-leg before attempting to hook a short ball and giving Phil Mustard another catch.
The batsman seemed frustrated by the decision, indicating the ball had brushed his upper arm, but it left Rushworth with match figures of 10-103.
Last man Mark Footitt also came out swinging and was backing away towards square-leg when Stokes splattered his stumps to finish with 4-62.
As a result of their victory, Durham moved up to second in the table while Derbyshire remained bottom.
