Surrey have announced a trio of moves with Chris Tremlett and Gareth Batty penning new deals and Zander de Bruyn leaving with immediate effect.
Tremlett has signed a one-year extension until the end of 2014, while Batty's fresh terms mean he will be at the Kia Oval until 2015 at least.
Alec Stewart commented: “The club are delighted that both Gareth and Chris have signed new contracts. Gareth is an integral part of the dressing room and his experience will continue to be an asset to the squad.
“Chris, who recorded his career best figures of 8-96 this season at Durham, will continue to add something different to our attack. We are pleased to secure his services for next season."
Yet they will not be playing alongside de Bruyn, the 38-year-old who has been with the club for three years since joining from Somerset.
“I have cherished my time with Surrey and I would like to wish the players and management all the best for the future,” he said. “I am now looking forward to the next stage of my career."
Stewart added: “I would like to thank Zander for his efforts over the past three years at Surrey.
"He has been an extremely popular member of the dressing room and has made important contributions with both bat and ball in all forms of the game. The club would like to wish Zander the very best for the next stage of his career.”
