FLt20: As it happened, July 14

RESULT! Worcestershire Royals (168/7) beat Somerset (160/8) by eight runs at TauntonToday's action is wrapped up as Andre Russell holds his nerve in the final over amid Yasir Arafat and Alfonso Thomas threatening something special.

RESULT! Essex Eagles (172/4) beat Sussex Sharks (171/9) by six wickets at Chelmsford - Ten Doeschate hits a 26-ball unbeaten 42 and, accompanied by Foster, sees the Eagles to a crucial success.

RESULT! Yorkshire Vikings (142/9) beat Derbyshire Falcons (136/5) by six runs at Chesterfield - Despite his last over going for 25, Liam Plunkett emerges as the hero when delivering a perfect final-ball yorker to Morkel with six required for the tie. The South African's 51 not out was not enough to earn victory for Derbyshire.

RESULT! Northants Steelbacks (157/3) beat Glamorgan (153/7) by seven wickets at Wantage Road - Glamorgan taste defeat in the sprint format for the first time this season following 68 from White and Alex Wakeley’s 52 not out.

5:22pm - Buttler has gone for 27 and Somerset look set for a second loss in as many games. Derbyshire require an unlikely 23 off four balls, while Essex should emerge triumphant.

5:18pm - Ryan ten Doeschate and James Foster have put Essex on course for victory, while Buttler is doing his best having struck 27 off just 12 balls but lost partner James Hildreth.

5:11pm - Derbyshire have lost Tom Poynton yet, crucially, Morkel remains. Northants are closing on victory, while Somerset and Essex require something special. Jos Buttler has just hit an early six for the former.

5:04pm - Essex's hopes have taken a huge hit with the departure of Shah for 40, Michael Yardy the man to strike.

5:03pm - Bopara has gone for 35 but that is quite an effort given he will surely be still feeling the effects of that aforementioned injury. Somerset have lost Marcus Trescothick to Jack Shantry for 49, while Derbyshire's rebuilding effort is being led by Albie Morkel. Another overseas player, Cameron White, has reached 50 for Northants, who require 39 off the last 22 balls to end Glamorgan's 100% record.

RESULT! Warwickshire Bears (97/4) beat Gloucestershire Gladiators (96) by six wickets at CheltenhamThe Bears maintain their progression hopes with a comfortable triumph as Rikki Clarke hits 22 not out.

RESULT! Hampshire Royals (164/3) beat Middlesex Panthers (162/5) by seven wickets at Richmond - Despite losing James Vince for 84 and Jimmy Adams 29 just before completing their win, Hampshire usurp the Panthers to move top of the South Group.

4:48pm - Rafiq picks up a third when Billy Godleman reverse-sweeps straight to point, while Warwickshire's Varun Chopra falls with the victory line in sight.

4:43pm - Yorkshire are now in control at Chesterfield as Azeem Rafiq claims a second wicket, that of Dan Redfern. Meanwhile, Owais Shah and Ravi Bopara - surprisingly playing having been expected to be out for six weeks with a side strain - are rebuilding Essex's innings impressively. Peter Trego has fallen for Somerset, Joe Leach grabbing his scalp.

4:39pm - Northants' hopes are undermined when Richard Levi is bowled by Dean Cosker, while Derbyshire lose Wayne Madsen and Chesney Hughes in quick succession amid Vince pressing on well beyond 50 for Hampshire.

4:30pm - Chris Jordan puts Sussex in command versus Essex, grabbing his second scalp by having Greg Smith caught behind. The rest of the chasing sides are in good shape; Warwickshire have lost Laurie Evans but are 58 for two in pursuit of 97.

4:27pm - Carberry is run out for 43 but not before helping put champions Hampshire in complete command on 89 after just 6.3 overs.

4:13pm - Somerset, Warwickshire, Essex and Northants all lose early wickets, Craig Kieswetter, Will Porterfield, Hamish Rutherford and Kyle Coetzer departing respectively. Meanwhile, Durham's hopes have all but ended with the dismissal of Borthwick.

4:09pm - Sussex end on an impressive 171 for nine - helped by a 12-run penalty for Essex not getting their overs down in time - amid run-chases starting elsewhere. Durham require 49 off the final three overs at Emirates Old Trafford, while Hampshire's pursuit of 163 versus Middlesex as Kyle Mills, the hero a couple of nights ago against Essex, struggles versus Michael Carberry and James Vince.

3:58pm - Scott Borthwick is keeping Durham's hopes alive with a fine, unbeaten half-century but Ben Stokes has just been taken by Simon Kerrigan.

3:52pm - Glamorgan post a very solid 153 for seven against Northants on the back of Murray Goodwin's 47 and despite Azhar's 4-14, while Yorkshire manage 142 for nine against Derbyshire

3:44pm - Gloucestershire have been dismissed for just 96, meaning Warwickshire look in good shape for their second victory in this year's competition. Durham, meanwhile, are now three down chasing 171; none of the teams are on for a massive total, which as perhaps to be expected when every side chose to bowl.

3:37pm - Alexei Kervezee and Dawid Malan become the second and third batsmen to reach 50, while Essex's Tait now has four wickets against Sussex, for whom Rory Hamilton-Brown is 31 not out.

3:32pm - Wickets are tumbling aplenty at the moment as bowlers attempt to keep down the scores. The most important comes in Manchester as Durham lose in-form opener Phil Mustard.

3:24pm - Middlesex remain in decent shape despite the loss of Adam Voges, while Gloucestershire are in disarray having lost a seventh wicket.

3:19pm - Gloucestershire have slipped to 67 for six with Javid grabbing a third wicket and Steffan Piolet a first. Machan has gone lbw to Tim Phillips, while Morkel picks up a third when bowling Andrew Hodd. Durham's pursuit of 171 gets off to a bad start as Mark Stoneman falls quickly to Kabir Ali.

3:12pm - And there is the first fifty: congratulations Matt Machan, who has put Sussex in fine shape. Yorkshire are stuttering a little, with David Hodgson becoming Morkel's second victim.

3:09pm - We're still yet to see a half-century as wickets keep tumbling, Dan Christian dismissed by Javid and Daryl Mitchell bowled by Max Waller.

3:06pm - Dan Redfern is having a good time of things with the ball in this format recently and adds another scalp by bowling Phil Jaques on the sweep for 22. Glamorgan, meanwhile, have lost the dangerous Chris Cooke cheaply and Mark Wallace for 19.

2:59pm - Glamorgan, flying at the top of the Midlands/Wales/West Group, lose a first wicket after a fine start, Muhammad Azhar Ullah having Jim Allenby caught behind for 36.

2:55pm - A big blow for Worcestershire as the in-form Moeen Ali goes to Steve Kirby, while Middlesex's Joe Denly has become Mascarenhas' second victim. Lancashire have ended on an imposing 170 for five, the ever-dependable Simon Katich hitting 40 not out.

2:50pm - Albie Morkel, having had Joe Sayers dropped previously, eventually gets him out and Gloucestershire lose a third when Chris Woakes strikes.

Middlesex's Paul Stirling has departed cheaply to Dimitri Mascarenhas with Sussex's Dwyane Smith bowled by Essex's Shaun Tait.

2:43pm - Worcestershire's Thilan Samaraweera is bowled by Somerset's Yasir Arafat, while Warwickshire grab a second breakthrough when Rikki Clarke has Michael Klinger caught at extra-cover.

2:36pm - Borthwick is hitting back impressively for Durham, quickly getting rid of Steven Croft.
