The NatWest Series T20 International match between England and Australia at the Ageas Bowl on August 29 is a sell-out.
Nearly 20,000 seats have been booked by cricket fans and hospitality guests for the first of two T20 clashes between the nations.
Tickets remain for the other the ground’s other international this summer, as England face Australia in the fifth and final NatWest Series ODI on September 16.
Hampshire commercial director Stuart Robertson said: "We are delighted that this match has now sold out as it means the atmosphere inside the ground will be absolutely amazing.
"Although internationals always enjoy excellent crowds here, the demand for this game has been phenomenal which shows that the south's cricket fans are really excited about this clash.
"But the excitement doesn't stop there and our NatWest Series one-day international in September will be the last opportunity to see England on home soil before they travel Down Under for the 'return leg' of the Ashes, so we hope all England fans will get behind the team and come down to the Ageas Bowl to give their side the send-off they deserve."
Tickets for the ODI are still available, priced from £53 for adults and £10 for children. General admission tickets are available online via the Ageas Bowl ticketing website, or over the phone on 0844 847 1863 (24 hours a day). You can also buy them in person at the Ageas Bowl ticket office during normal office hours.
Limited numbers of hospitality packages are also available for the ODI priced from £395 + VAT and include a champagne reception, three course luncheon with matching wines, afternoon tea, post-match refreshments and celebrity guest speakers.
