Yorkshire have appointed Harry Gration MBE and Gary Verity onto the club’s board.
Gration, a BBC broadcaster for over three decades, and Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Verity, who helped bring the Tour de France to Yorkshire in 2014, will begin their roles with immediate effect.
Yorkshire chairman Colin Graves was delighted to have the pair on board.
“The club has a matrix of desired skills and experiences which it uses to regularly assess the construction of its board, and both Harry and Gary bring a wealth of marketing and profile raising abilities,” he said.
“Their knowledge and their standing across the county will enable us to raise the profile of the club and tap into new areas widening our appeal as an institution within the region."
