League cricketers in Hampshire will be rewarded for impressive individual performances during the 2014 season thanks to a landmark ticket giveaway scheme from Hampshire Cricket.
For seven weeks of the season, the best bowling and batting performers in every adult division of the Southern Electric Cricket League and Hampshire Cricket League will receive two tickets to a corresponding Hampshire NatWest T20 Blast fixture at the Ageas Bowl.
The club will be giving away over 900 tickets across 26 divisions in Hampshire, showing its support to the cricket in the county at grassroots level.
The scheme will commence this weekend with tickets for Hampshire’s opening NatWest T20 Blast match against Glamorgan on Friday 16 May at the Ageas Bowl up for grabs.
Hampshire Cricket commercial director Stuart Robertson said: “We are very proud of the fact that league cricket in Hampshire is very popular and enjoyed by many. It’s a big part of many people’s lives and rewarding local success in this way underlines our support to the players and cricket clubs in the county.
“This scheme fits perfectly with our wider community activity under the guidance of our official charity, Hampshire Cricket in the Community, which is helping a number of people across our region.”
An independent representative from each respective league will decide and notify the winners each week.
Tickets for all seven of Hampshire’s home NatWest T20 Blast matches can be purchased via The Ageas Bowl online ticketing website.
Alternatively, you can purchase tickets by visiting the Ageas Bowl’s ticketing and membership office during normal working hours.
Hampshire are also offering fans the opportunity to see all five Friday night T20 matches at the Ageas Bowl for just £79.00.
