LV= County Champions Durham have continued their planning for 2014 by handing contracts to a trio of youngsters.
Left-arm seamer Jamie Harrison, 23, has signed a two-year extension, having broken back into the team this summer following injury troubles and contributed 14 wickets in four appearances at a crucial phase of the season.
In addition, MCC Young Cricketers Stuart Poynter and Graham Clark have been awarded one-year deals.
Harrison said: “I am really happy to have extended my time at Durham. It has been such a successful season for the club and has been a privilege to be part of this team.
“I am looking forward to working hard in the winter and hopefully getting the opportunity to win more games and silverware for Durham CCC in the future.”
Wicketkeeper Poynter is a 22-year-old Ireland international who has featured for Warwickshire in this week’s final round of championship fixtures.
He heads to Durham having already represented the club at Second XI level, while 20-year-old batting all-rounder Clark is a former Durham academy player.
