Tom Kohler-Cadmore was the star of the show with a century on the opening day of Worcestershire’s clash with Cambridge MCCU at Fenner’s Ground.
The opener, who has struggled to make an impression with the bat for the first team this term, struck 15 fours in his 110 off 193 balls before falling to Josh Arksey in the 63rd over.
The 19-year-old shared in stands of 73 and 80 with Ross Whiteley and Joe Leach respectively after the visitors won the toss.
Former Derbyshire player Whiteley contributed 40 while Leach was 46 not out as a young Worcestershire outfit closed on 248 for five.
