Only 8.4 overs were possible in Leicestershire’s clash at Leeds/Bradford MCCU due to heavy rain.
The university side won the toss and reduced their visitors to 41 for one, Michael Thornely bowled by Alex Lilley, before the heavens opened in West Yorkshire.
No further play was possible so Matthew Boyce and Dan Redfern will resume at the crease tomorrow morning.
