Tymal Mills blogs from the England Lions camp, as they near the end of their tour of Sri Lanka
We are now in the final week of what has been an extremely challenging yet enjoyable tour. We've travelled around the country experiencing the different conditions and cultures that they have to offer. Everybody has been extremely welcoming and made us feel at home throughout our stay.
We were welcomed to Dambulla to some cracking views and a rather large iguana as soon as we arrived at the hotel which was a bit different!
There were a few changes for the match and unfortunately I missed out, I was obviously disappointed but the decision was made based on the wicket as we went with the extra spinner.
The pitch was pretty flat and two of our lads cashed in big time with Sam Robson scoring 140 and James Taylor scoring a class 240 which was a pleasure to watch.
We're now back in Colombo for the final match and the lads are enjoying having a bit more variety in food options in the evening after two weeks in the jungle.
I'm back in for this match and looking to finish the tour on a high both personally and of course as a team we are looking to win the series 2-0 which will be a great achievement by all involved.
Hope you've enjoyed my ramblings over the past month and see you all back in England!
