Lancashire retained the Second XI Trophy with a thumping 76-run win over Nottinghamshire at Welbeck Colliery.
In a final played across two days due to yesterday’s rain, Lancashire posted an imposing total of 259 for seven from 40 overs on the back of substantial scores from their two most experienced players.
Stephen Moore top-scored with 85 and Steven Croft added 61, while all-rounder Jordan Clark also prospered with 60.
Nottinghamshire could only muster 183 all out in reply as Gavin Griffiths returned 3-37.
Lancashire have also reached the final of the Second XI Championship and will take on Middlesex at Radlett next week.
