Ben Phillips will leave Nottinghamshire when his contract expires at the end of the summer.
The veteran seamer, 38, has taken 33 wickets in 16 first-class appearances since moving to Trent Bridge from Somerset in 2011.
Notts director of cricket Mick Newell said: “I'd like to thank Ben for the three years he's been at Trent Bridge.
“He's been a great role-model for the younger members of the squad and we'd would like to wish him all the best in the future.”
Phillips, who began his career with Kent back in 1996 and boasts 486 scalps across all formats, added: “I`ve really enjoyed my time at Trent Bridge.
“I'd like thank the team, staff and supporters for making me feel so welcome over the past three years, and hope that the team go on and enjoy success in the future.”
