Not a ball bowled all told

Kent's LV= County Championship Division Two meeting with Worcestershire at Tunbridge Wells was abandoned as a draw after poor weather on the final day.

No play proved possible on Wednesday and a decision was taken to call off the game after a pitch inspection at 3pm.

A result had seemed unlikely anyway with the match having advanced little on day three. Worcestershire were 67 without loss in their first innings, replying to Kent's 258.

Worcestershire ended with eight points and Kent seven.
