Adam Rossington has extended his loan spell at Northamptonshire for another month.
The 21-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman has impressed since arriving at Wantage Road, on an initial month-long deal from Middlesex at the start of July.
Rossington was man of the match when he hit 82 in the Steelbacks’ four-wicket win over Gloucestershire in the Royal London One-Day Cup earlier this week.
“I am delighted to be here for another month and am looking forward to helping the team get a few more victories during August,” he said.
Northants head coach David Ripley, added: “We are delighted that Adam has agreed to stay for another month.
“He has made a great impression in his short time here at Northants, as he has really added to our middle order, scoring runs in all three formats.
“I know Adam is hungry to add to that and we hope he can continue to do well for the club. I would like thank Middlesex CCC for their player-centred approach, in allowing Adam to extend his loan agreement.”
