Six of the best for Kent

Kent have announced a flurry of moves with two new signings complemented by four players penning new deals.

The county have swooped for Durham seamer Mitchell Claydon following a successful loan spell, while also adding Hampshire paceman David Griffiths.

Furthermore, exciting youngsters Calum Haggett, Fabian Cowdrey, Daniel Bell-Drummond and Sam Northeast have extended their stays.

Chairman Graham Johnson said: “To be able to announce that this group of players have signed for Kent is extremely exciting.

“All are ambitious players who seek a positive environment in which to develop their talent. They are also ambitious for the club and keen to play their full part in all aspects of developing a winning culture.”
