Suffolk and Shropshire ended the latest round of Minor Counties Championship games top of their respective divisions.
The former cruised to an eight-wicket victory over Staffordshire to reach the Eastern Division summit, Matt Hunn leading the way with match figures of 8-94.
Thomas Huggins also chipped in with a calm unbeaten 70 as Suffolk chased down 150 to seal a comfortable triumph.
Shropshire were indebted to an outstanding display from James Ralph that secured their spot at the head of the Western Division.
After Oxfordshire had posted 226, the batsman struck a superb 124 to secure a total of 384 and lead of 158.
The hosts responded impressively when posting 401 on the back of Lloyd Sabin's 155, but Ralph stepped up once again by hitting 93 not out as Shropshire chased 244.
Just behind the leaders, Cheshire kept up the pressure with a tight 71-run victory over Dorset, Khalid Sawas hitting 121 and 85.
However, his efforts paled in comparison to Daniel Woods', the seamer following up 5-116 in the first innings with 8-62 in the second as Dorset failed in pursuit of 239.
Elsewhere in that group, Nick Davies' five-wicket haul helped Wales Minor Counties to a triumph over Berkshire, Neil Ivamy's second-innings 7-34 took Cornwall to a 51-run win over Wiltshire and Herefordshire's clash with Devon was drawn.
Paul McMahon claimed 10 match wickets as Cambridgeshire beat Hertfordshire by 161 runs in the Eastern Division, while Northumberland versus Bedfordshire and Lincolnshire against Cumberland ended in draws.
