Swanny behind the scenes of Blast

Swanny, known for his Ashes diaries, takes you on a special Swanny production with Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Eoin Morgan, Titch and some of the other stars of this year’s NatWest T20 Blast competition. Full video at the bottom of the page.

Did you know 70% of NatWest T20 Blast matches are on a Friday night. All the more reason to buy tickets!

So what did Swanny get up to? Well let's show you...

It all gets started with a bit of a dance! (That's a common theme throughout. You'll see...)

Swanny goes in search of a few of the players we had attending the media day. One from each county. There's some big hitters (excuse the pun) from Eoin Morgan, to Jos Buttler and James Taylor (he's named Titch, but he hits it a long way). Swanny manages to chat to them all, and there's some very funny moments.

He's dancing again! Titch doesn't look impressed...

Swanny then asks some quick-fire, Friday night questions. Everything from:

  • On a Friday night out, how long does it take you to drop the line that you're a county cricketer?
  • Who's the man in your dressing room organising the night out?
  • Why do you love Friday night matches so much?
  • What are your Friday night dance moves?

There's some brilliant ones too! Enter Essex's Greg Smith...
(see more in the video below including one move called the catepillar - genius)

All the while Swanny was having his fun, there was some serious work to be done in the photo shoot. And then Swanny got involved in that too!

Here's the real photo shoot. Handsome bunch, right?

So what will you be doing on Friday night this summer? Swanny has the answer.
