Tickets for Warwickshire’s Royal London One-Cup clash with Kent at Rugby School on August 10 are now on general sale.
Following the success of a sell-out Twenty20 against Glamorgan at the venue last summer, in what was Warwickshire’s first home match away from Edgbaston in seven years, the county are returning for the 50-over contest and advance tickets can be purchased at £15 for adults and £5 for under-16s.
Warwickshire commercial director Gareth Roberts said: “Last year was the first time that a home fixture had been played away from Edgbaston for seven years, and we were thrilled with the reaction from local supporters with all tickets selling out more than a week in advance.
“We believe that a full-day, Royal London One-Day Cup match will prove an even bigger attraction than the shorter T20 format, and we’re making it even easier for local residents to buy tickets this year, by again selling from Hope Clothing on Sheep Street as well as Rugby Tourist Information Centre.”
Rugby School headmaster Patrick Derham added: “Last year’s successful T20 match proved Rugby School as an excellent host of first-team county cricket and we’re proud to be an official venue of Warwickshire CCC.
“The extended hours of play for the Royal London One-Day Cup match provide an attractive day out for supporters of all ages and we’re sure that the many local cricket fans in this part of the county will be keen to see the Bears in action.”
