No play was possible in Friday night's NatWest T20 Blast match between Durham Jets and Nottinghamshire Outlaws at the Emirates Durham ICG due to rain.
The abandonment was confirmed at 7.25pm. Umpires Nigel Cowley and David Millns faced a dilemma on their final inspection at 7.20pm as the rain had all but stopped, but as it would have taken at least 30 minutes to remove the sheeting there was insufficient time for a five-over thrash.
Nottinghamshire move on to 12 points in the North Group, having won five of their 10 matches this season.
Durham remain two points further back, and a place outside the quarter-final positions, with four wins from 10 games.
