Graeme White took four wickets as Northamptonshire secured a comfortable 159-run over Durham MCCU on the third and final day of their clash at the Racecourse.
After the visitors declared on their overnight 149 for six to leave a victory target of 354, Durham MCCU were never in the running.
Number three Chaitanya Bishnoi tried his best to frustrate Northants, falling agonisingly one short of a century, but White led the way with figures of 4-42 from 18.3 overs to dismiss Durham MCCU for 194.

At the Ageas Bowl, Jake Libby struck an unbeaten 72 as Cardiff MCCU secured a draw against Hampshire.
The hosts added 10 runs in four overs this morning before declaring, leaving their opponents a mammoth 423 to win.
They were up against it when David Balcombe struck twice in the first three overs to reduce Cardiff MCCU to 10 for two.
But the visitors recovered to reach 165 for four courtesy of Libby, whose 138-ball innings included stands of 60 and 68 with Sean Griffiths and Sam Bracey respectively.
