Seamer James Anyon has put pen to paper on a new deal with Warwickshire that will keep him at Edgbaston until the end of 2010.
The 25-year-old has been a consistent performer this season and has played a total of 41 first-class games, taking 104 wickets at an average of 38.
Anyon said, “I am delighted to be staying with the Bears for another two years at least.
"I am enjoying working under Allan Donald and Ashley Giles and I believe the club and the team are moving in the right direction and I know that under them we can achieve honours this year and beyond.”
Director of cricket Giles added: “Jimmy is a key member of the squad and has grown in experience over the last few years and we are happy that he is committing his future for the Bears."
