Bresnan makes rankings mark
Tim Bresnan has shot into second place, from outside the top 10, in the PCA Player Rankings with some outstanding recent performances for Yorkshire, including bowling figures of 4-10 against Worcestershire, during which he claimed three wickets in four deliveries.
England paceman Steve Harmison still tops both the Most Valuable Players Rankings and the LV County Championship Rankings as he continued his fine form with nine wickets against Kent in the championship. He now has 24 wickets in the competition.
Warwickshire's Dale Steyn moves up seven places to third in the Player Rankings after impressing with 16 championship wickets this season and a half-century against Surrey.
Bresnan's Yorkshire colleague Adil Rashid takes second place behind Harmison in the championship rankings after returning figures of 4-47 in the second innings against Worcestershire.
