Derbyshire has elected to freeze the price of membership for the 2009 season until April 1 thus giving supporters the maximum opportunity to benefit from the reduced price.
With all LV County Championship and NatWest Pro40 matches included, as well as the group stages of the Friends Provident Trophy and Twenty20 Cup, a membership card will entitle the holder to a minimum of 40 days of cricket during the 2009 season.
Matches at both the County Ground in Derby and Queen’s Park in Chesterfield will be included.
Chairman Don Amott commented: “Freezing prices until April 1 gives supporters three extra months in which to benefit from previous years.
“With the current economic climate as it is, this offer is the club’s way of helping the Derbyshire public by making a membership as affordable as possible.
“With a season of improvement on the field last season to build on and our squad having been strengthened by the signings of Garry Park and Tim Groenewald, there will be some great entertainment in the offering at the County Ground and Queen’s Park, Chesterfield, during the 2009 season.”
The kids go free promotion is being repeated in 2009 entitling every paying adult member to a free junior membership for a named child under the age of 16.
Members will gain exclusive access to the members’ lounge in the Jackson and Gladwin Suite of the Lund Pavilion as well as receiving a 10 per cent discount on a range of selected items from the club shop.
