Rafiq agrees Derbyshire deal

Yorkshire have allowed Azeem Rafiq to join Derbyshire on loan as the young off-spinner looks to gain further first-team experience
Yorkshire off-spinner Azeem Rafiq has moved to Derbyshire on a one-month loan.
Rafiq has played seven first-class matches for the White Rose in addition to 17 appearances in limited-overs cricket. He also has 28 England Under-19 caps to his name.
The 20-year-old could make his debut for Derbyshire in their Clydesdale Bank 40 match against the Netherlands on Monday.
Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris said: “Azeem is a talented cricketer who gives us another option with the ball during an important month of cricket.
“Opportunities to play first-team cricket have been limited at Yorkshire, but now he has the opportunity to compete for a place both in championship and one-day cricket here at Derbyshire.”
