Barbados will stage Derbyshire's two-week pre-season tour, featuring matches against the hosts, Hampshire and Yorkshire

Derbyshire will warm up for the 2012 domestic campaign with a pre-season tour to Barbados for the third straight year.

Captain Luke Sutton’s side will fly out on Friday 16 March for a two-week trip that includes a two-day match with Barbados and a 40-over encounter against Hampshire.

Those games precede the Twenty20 Barbados Cup, which Derbyshire begin by facing Yorkshire with the winners progressing to the semi-finals and potentially the final, both the following day.

Sutton’s squad are due to return to the UK in the early hours of Wednesday 28 March.
