Collingwood suffers broken hand
Paul Collingwood has broken his hand and will miss Durham’s Friends Life t20 group campaign.
England’s World Twenty20-winning captain suffered the injury to his right hand in last week’s LV= County Championship draw with Warwickshire.
A statement on the county’s website read: “Following an MRI scan on Monday, Durham CCC can confirm that Paul Collingwood has suffered an undisplaced fracture of his second metacarpal.
“It is anticipated that the recovery time for this injury is four to five weeks.”
Durham begin their FLt20 campaign on Friday against Yorkshire at Headingley Carnegie.
