Glamorgan discipline O'Shea

Twenty-one-year-old Mike O'Shea broke Glamorgan’s code of employment in relation to a drink driving offence
Glamorgan have suspended youngster Mike O’Shea from all cricket for three weeks for breaking the club’s code of employment in relation to a drink driving offence.
The 21-year-old, who has made one LV= County Championship and two Friends Provident Trophy appearances this season, was disciplined at a hearing held earlier today.
Director of cricket Matthew Maynard said: “The club takes matters like this extremely seriously. Mike O’Shea is a talented cricketer at Glamorgan but he has severely broken the code of employment.
“This will not be tolerated, he has been duly suspended and we can only hope that he uses this time as a period of reflection.”
O’Shea added: “I am deeply embarrassed about my behaviour and I apologise unreservedly to Glamorgan and the supporters for the effects my actions have had on the club.
“I accept without question all the sanctions the club have decided to impose on me. Drink driving is utterly unacceptable and totally out of character for me.”

I am absolutley disgusted with this. A close relative of mine died through being killed by a young drink-driver who thought he was above the law.
