Glamorgan have announced that Australian seamer Michael Hogan will not join the club until the start of next season.

Hogan, who has a British passport, agreed a three-year deal at the SWALEC Stadium in March and was scheduled to arrive in Wales at the beginning of July to bolster Glamorgan’s pace attack.

However, he will now see out the final year of his Western Australia contract before retiring from domestic cricket in his homeland and linking up with Glamorgan prior to their 2013 campaign.
