Morgan given Glamorgan role
David Morgan OBE has been appointed Glamorgan’s new president for the next four years.
Morgan, who has served as president of the International Cricket Council and chairman of the England & Wales Cricket Board, has undertaken the role following a unanimous vote at the club’s annual AGM.
He said: “I’m greatly honoured to serve Glamorgan as its president and will do all I can to help the chairman and other officers of the club in their quest for future success.”
Chairman Barry O’Brien added: "I was delighted when David accepted our invitation to be our president through to the Ashes Test in 2015. David is one of the world’s great cricket administrators and his continuing contribution to Glamorgan will be of enormous value.”
