Glamorgan have swooped to sign experienced left-arm seamer Dirk Nannes for the duration of this year's Friends Life t20

Glamorgan’s head of elite performance Matthew Mott said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Dirk to Glamorgan. He was on the radar for a number clubs and we are very happy to have secured his signature.

“We were looking for a strike and death bowler because they are like gold dust in T20 cricket.

“Dirk is vastly experienced in this format and a proven performer. With his experience of the competitions across the world, he will also provide a great deal of firepower and intimidation to our bowling unit.”
