New deals for Harrison and Wright

Ben Wright, left, has impressed since making his debut for Glamorgan in 2006 and has signed a new two-year contract
David Harrison and Ben Wright have commited their futures to Glamorgan by putting pen to paper on new two-year deals.
Harrison, 28, made his debut for the club 11 years ago, while 22-year-old Wright first came into the fold in 2006.
Meanwhile, development player Will Owen, who has played his way into the first-team set-up after finishing his studies, has signed his first professional deal.
Director of cricket Matthew Maynard is delighted to have tied the trio to new contracts.
“David has recaptured his form and it’s great to see him back playing quality cricket,” he said. “Ben has continued his development and has had a season best this year with 172 runs against Gloucestershire.
“Will has come on tremendously under the guidance of Steve Watkin and if he continues this development he will keep pushing for that first-team position.”
