Gloucs promote T20 international

NatWest International T20

England

Tickets are on sale for World Twenty20 champions England's game with Sri Lanka at the County Ground, Bristol, on June 25

Gloucestershire will be projecting a giant 30-foot advert in Bristol tomorrow evening to promote next year’s NatWest Twenty20 international between England and Sri Lanka.

The club have arranged for a promotion of their international fixture to appear on a building on the Promenade in central Bristol.

This is believed to be the first outdoor projection to take place in Bristol and follows the highly-publicised pre-Ashes projection produced by Cricket Australia on Big Ben.

The projection will publicise the Twenty20 clash between England and Sri Lanka at the County Ground, Bristol, on Saturday 25 June.

As well as seeing the Twenty20 world champions in action, spectators will be able to take in a women's international Twenty20 between England and Australia.

Gloucestershire marketing manager Emily Salvidge said: "This is a really exciting project and is something new for Bristol.

“This projection is sure to catch the attention of everyone out on Thursday evening doing their Christmas shopping or celebrating the festive season.

“We are proud to regularly bring international cricket to the South West and with the England team about to begin their third Test match in Australia this is the perfect opportunity to promote them coming to Bristol next year."

Tickets are on sale from £38 and are available to purchase online at www.gloscricket.co.uk or by calling 0117 910800.
