Gloucestershire all-rounder David Brown has signed a two-year contract extension which will keep him at Bristol until the end of 2010.
Brown took 15 wickets in the championship this season, including a haul of 5-38, and scored 348 runs.
Brown commented: "I am delighted to extend my contract at the club for a further two years, and I am particularly looking forward to working under John Bracewell.
“I hope to play a significant role in a successful 2009 season for the team."
Team mentor Jack Russell added: “David has already shown what an exciting young talent he is.
"He is maturing daily, and now has the opportunity to cement his place as an important member of the team.”
