Gidman to stay with Gloucestershire
Alex Gidman has signed a three-year contract with Gloucestershire to end speculation about his future.
The England A all-rounder would have been a free agent in the summer and had been offered a deal by Warwickshire but has now committed his future to the Gladiators.
Gidman said: “I am very pleased to have signed a new contract with the club.
“I am very excited about working with John Bracewell again, and I feel that with the right investment of players and the continued excellent support we get from fans and members we can start to climb the ladder once again.”
Chief executive Tom Richardson added: “Clearly we are delighted that Alex has signed a new contract. We see him as a very important part of the team both now and in the future.”
