Gloucestershire have registered former Somerset all-rounder Rob Woodman in time to face Essex in Division Two of the LV County Championship at Bristol today.
The 21-year-old, who bowls left-arm seam, impressed with the bat for the MCC Young Cricketers against Gloucestershire’s second team last week.
Gloucestershire chief executive said: “Rob Woodman played superbly for the MCC YC’s against our second XI last week, in a knock that was considered to be the best against our second XI all year. We are very keen to see what he can do given an opportunity to step up a level.”
