Kadeer extends Gloucestershire stay
Kadeer Ali has signed an extension to his contract with Gloucestershire until the end of the 2011 season.
Kadeer, 25, joined Gloucestershire in 2005 and made his highest first-class score of 161 against Northamptonshire last August - one of three centuries during the 2008 campaign.
Kadeer, said: “I am delighted that I am going to be here for the next three years. The club has been really good to me during the time I have been here.
“I am really looking forward to the 2009 season - especially working with John Bracewell, who I hope, with his experience will help my game too.”
Assistant coach Stuart Barnes added: “I'm really pleased Kadeer has agreed terms with us for the next three years.
“He is a hard worker, has good experience and now sits within a core group of experienced players that will be looking to guide the club forward in the short term.
“He is determined to keep improving his game and give himself every opportunity of getting better and better.”
