Members of the first Bristol Muslim Scout Group will be among those to benefit from Gloucestershire’s ‘kids go free’ offer at tomorrow’s floodlit NatWest Pro40 match against Middlesex.
Several scouts and their leaders recently joined Gloucestershire players to highlight the link between the club and the Scout Association.
Scout leader Ron Harvey, Iman Mirza, Rahma Mirza, Yusuf Mirza and Brunel scout district commissioner Mark Gollop joined Gloucestershire players Vikram Banerjee, Steve Kirby and Chris Taylor at the County Ground in Bristol.

Some lucky members of the local scout groups have been selected to create a guard of honour to welcome the teams out onto the pitch tomorrow. The county scout organisation will also have a display area at the ground to promote their activities and to encourage youngsters to take part in outdoor activity which is something the club endorses.
The Avon scout network has 12,000 members and it is hoped many have been busy downloading and printing off the voucher from the scout and Gloucestershire websites. The voucher entitles under-16s free entry (normal gate price £9) tomorrow when accompanied by a full paying adult.
The match begins at 4.40pm and is due to finish at 10.20pm. Tickets can be purchased when the gates open at 2.40pm on match day or in person from the ticket office today (during office hours). Tickets cost £18 for adults and £9 for under-16s. The voucher can still be downloaded from the Gloucestershire website by clicking on the main news story.
For more information contact the ticket line (during office hours) 0117 9108000 / 9108010 or visit the ticket office at the County Ground during office hours.
