New role for Marshall

Hamish Marshall is excited about about being Gloucestershire's vice-captain. "I look forward to the start of the season," he revealed today
Former New Zealand international Hamish Marshall has been handed the vice-captaincy at Gloucestershire.
Marshall, 33, joined the county six years ago and agreed an extended stay at the County Ground in November.
He said: “I am extremely excited about this opportunity to assist Alex Gidman as a leader in the team and look forward to the start of the season.”
Gidman said: “Hamish’s role won’t change that much because he is already an excellent role model for our young players.
“But I wanted someone to work alongside me and become involved in the selection process.
“I have not had a vice-captain since I became skipper and it will be good to have Hamish there in an official role to support me.”
