Promising Gloucestershire seamer Ian Saxelby is eager to push for a regular place in the side after he signed a three-year contract with the county.
The England Under-19 bowler, who has been on trial at Bristol this season, made his debut in the LV County Championship clash against Middlesex at Bristol in July and has gone on to play two more first-class fixtures.
Nottingham-born Saxelby said: “I am looking forward to opportunity of playing for Gloucestershire.
"Hopefully things will go well over next few years and my cricket will improve over this time.”
Team mentor Jack Russell added: “Having watched a lot of young bowlers at many levels around the country this season, he is undoubtedly the pick of the bunch."
