Ageas Bowl academy intake revealed
Hampshire have named the first six players to be awarded places in the Ageas Bowl International Cricket Academy.
A sextet of young Australians - Scott Henry, Travis Head, William Bosisto, Alex Keath, Ashton Turner and Ashton Agar - will each join up with a local club for the 2013 season as well as attending the academy.

Ashton Turner and William Bosisto are two of the six young Australians heading to the Ageas Bowl International Cricket Academy this year
Western Australia batsman Bosisto captained his country at last year’s Under-19 World Cup, while Agar is a highly-rated spinner currently in India with Australia’s Test squad.
The participating clubs in the scheme are Bournemouth, Lymington, Totton & Eling, Ventnor, Henley and Chichester Priory Park. They will each be allocated a player in a draw taking place at the Ageas Bowl on Friday evening.
Hampshire chairman Rod Bransgrove said: “The players involved have all been hand-selected as those whom Cricket Australia see as being those with great potential, so will inevitably raise the standard of club cricket within the county and surrounding area.
“In addition, they have all earned coaching qualifications to a high standard and will, therefore, add a great deal above and beyond their on-field skills. We look forward to welcoming them in April.”
