Hampshire all-rounder Sean Ervine has put pen to paper on a new deal which will keep him at the Rose Bowl for another two years.
The 25-year-old, who compliments his medium pace with an aggressive approach to batting in the middle order, made his first-class debut for Hampshire in 2005.
The left-hander has played five Tests for his native country and featured in 42 one-dayers, making his Test debut against England at Lord’s in 2003.
Ervine has also committed to spend more than 210 days annually in England over the next four years, a move that is an essential step towards an eventual England qualification.
Ervine said: “I am extremely happy to commit myself for another two years.
“Hampshire is a fantastic club to be apart of, and I’m looking forward to a great deal of success over the next few years.”
