Durham go into their LV County Championship Division One match against Hampshire at Basingstoke hoping to move to the top of the table.
After having their game against Nottinghamshire entirely washed out last week, it has now been nearly three weeks since they played first-class cricket.
Paul Collingwood and Steve Harmison are playing for England in the NatWest Series, giving Graham Onions a chance to stake his claim in the side.
Durham have named a 13-man squad for the match, which starts tomorrow, with Ben Harmison and Gareth Breese added to the XI which beat Kent inside three days in a low-scoring match at the Riverside at the beginning of August.
Hampshire are once again putting their faith in spin, with both Imran Tahir and Liam Dawson included in their squad to face Durham.
Sean Ervine comes into the game on the back of two match-winning performances in the last week, with Michael Lumb also aiming to impress after scoring his first hundred for Hampshire in the draw against Somerset.
He followed up that innings with an unbeaten 83, with Michael Carberry ending on 88 not out.
Hampshire will be looking to pull themselves out of the relegation zone, but are likely to face a tough challenge in the face of high-flying Durham.
