Riazuddin earns fresh deal
Former England Under-19 captain Hamza Riazuddin has signed a new one-year contract with Hampshire for 2013.
The bowling all-rounder, who will be 23 next month, first played for England U19s in 2008 and led them the next year. Before representing his country at the level, he had featured for Hampshire in all three senior formats.
Riazuddin has made a handful of first-team appearances each season since, including four in the LV= County Championship at the start of this campaign when he took 5-61 with his seamers and hit the winning runs in a dramatic penultimate-ball win over Glamorgan at the SWALEC Stadium.

He said: "Hampshire's my home, it's where I've grown up and I love playing here.
"It's, hopefully, an exciting year coming up next year with some great things happening at the club and, having enjoyed two trophy wins last year, it's a good place to be.
"Last season gave me a lot of confidence and I've had a lot of backing here in terms of development.
"I'd love to have a long career at Hampshire so, if I can make that work, I'll do everything I can to do that."
Hampshire manager Giles White said: "Hamza performed when he was called upon last year and 2013 offers him the opportunity to push on and stake a claim for a more regular first-team place.”
