Tahir joins Hampshire
Imran Tahir has previously played for Middlesex and Yorkshire in England
Hampshire have completed the signing of Pakistan A's Imran Tahir as their overseas player for the remainder of the season.
The 29-year-old leg-spinner has previous county experience with Middlesex in 2003 and Yorkshire in 2007, and has recently been playing in South Africa for the Titans.
Tahir has taken 240 first-class wickets at an average of 26.
Tahir’s registration has been confirmed by the ECB, making him available for Hampshire’s first NatWest Pro40 game against the Nottinghamshire on Sunday.
