Kent have signed Hampshire seamer David Balcombe on a one-month loan and he could go straight into the side to face Surrey in the LV= County Championship tomorrow.

Balcombe said: "I am really pleased to be joining Kent for this period, and look forward to the opportunity to represent the county and contribute to success for the club.”
Kent team director Paul Farbrace added: "We are really pleased that the deal has been agreed with Hampshire and we now hope that David will do very well for Kent. We have added him to the squad for the championship game against Surrey, starting tomorrow.”
