Haggett joins Kent
Kent have confirmed the signing of all-rounder Calum Haggett.
The former England Under-19 international, who has also previously played for Somerset, represented Kent’s second XI in the latter stages of the 2012 season.
Haggett will link up with his new county when he returns from South Africa later this week.
The 22-year-old said: “I am really excited and looking forward to playing for Kent, and I hope that I can make a contribution to what hopefully will be a very successful season for the club.”
Kent head coach Jimmy Adams added: “A large part of what we’re trying to do here at Kent is to develop first-class players and we are keen to watch our talented young players grow, and them getting the opportunity to play is part of that.
“Players that age can go as far as they want - I'm very happy with his signing."
