No room at the inn for Joseph
Fast bowler Robbie Joseph is to leave Kent, the club have announced.
The 29-year-old, born in Antigua, had limited first-team opportunities this year, playing in six LV= County Championship games but making no senior limited-overs appearances.
Joseph, who made his Kent debut at the end of the 2005 season, took 144 first-class wickets at 31.25 and 47 limited-overs scalps for the county. His performances in 2008 saw him picked for the England Performance squad and England Lions.
He said: “I have greatly enjoyed my time at Kent and am now looking forward to a new challenge elsewhere. I feel I still have a great deal to achieve in the game and am looking forward to making that happen.”
Kent chairman Graham Johnson added: “We would like to thank Robbie for his efforts for the county over the years and wish him well for the future.”
